Because I want to go down to the planet's surface but there's something about it that makes my skin itch. I could ask Sorey, but then he'd want to bring along the others and I don't want to deal with them.

[Once the noise and bluster has died down and people start leaving, Sorey seeks out Alisha and pulls a chair up beside her. He doesn't doubt that some of what was discussed went over her head, and that's his fault; he should've talked to her about all of this when she first arrived, like he had with Edna, but he just-

He didn't want to burden her further. Not when she already does so much, and assumes so much responsibility.]

...you looked like you might have some questions, [he murmurs, knowing full well she absolutely has questions. About when he became a hellion, which had been mentioned, and undoubtedly also about Maotelus...and how Sorey knows him.]

[ That... would certainly be putting it lightly. There's a lot that she's missed - but then again, she's always had her own duties to attend to. Being here really was the first time in a long time that she's been able to help Sorey and the others out. Now that she's finally had a chance to find out what they've been doing during their journey, there was so much she didn't understand - and a lot that concerned her.

What had driven Sorey to become a hellion...? And, was there really no other way for Sorey to purify Maotelous?

But, no matter how it might seem to Sorey - nothing that he decided has ever burdened her. She's wanted to help Sorey - as both his friend, and as someone who believed in him. ]

[Ah. Maotelus.] Not that we could find. Not in time.

[Not being able to say goodbye to Alisha ranks up there as the worst thing about having to sleep for as long as he will. And knowing she'll die long before he wakes...

[ She really is relieved, but... she can't say that she's happy about his actions, either. ]

[There's a huge, heavy knock on Alisha's door and when she opens it, she'll find a small box with a red ribbon on it.

Inside, chocolates are nestled in the box, a few layers deep.

There's no note.]

[ She's flattered, but pls let her thank you, Edna... ]

Hey, Alisha. Do you have a minute to talk?

[He's trying not to sound as morose as he feels. Losing Eizen had been easier, since they hadn't known him as well, but Edna was family. Like a sister he'd never had before. Sure, they bickered, but he'd come to rely on her. He knows he's going to miss her sorely once it properly kicks in.]

I do. Is everything alright?

[ She can tell already - something isn't right. It's a nagging feeling that she has, but... perhaps she's wrong. ]
